Aorta and both kidneys, showing gross enlargement of the para-aortic lymph nodes; lymph nodes
remain discrete.
History
This woman was investigated in hospital over some months for the cause of an anaemia.
At autopsy, liver was infiltrated by tumour; spleen was enlarged, weighing 240 g. and also
infiltrated. Enlarged lymph nodes in supraclavicular fossae, mediastinum and abdomen. Histology:
Lymphoblastic lymphoma.
